Its going to be tough to keep supporting sky high rent values if prices stay where they are at. At some point in time there has to be profitability, not just recapitalizing land equity.
Land dropping 20-30% would send shockwaves through some leveraged portfolios, and that isn't a big drop. The net lending values would all of a sudden be wiped out.
