Agree that volume has been light and the sale off has really been orderly. Seasonally we are weak in March with trending up from end of March to July in SX. Still long some 120k but OI had not come down as some expect..maybe some new tender shorts waiting to get ran over? Bottom line funds are not scared of a big sale off and will flex...waiting on ARg now?
YES..Corn is a concern this month but maybe funds got ahead of themselves +80k. See commercials have a lot of corn hedged so they expect alot of spring movement. I think once this 400k short starts to come down we may and see some wx premium come back....or the acreage/stocks may get us going again. May is at long term support so it needs to hold here.
March really has been ho hum so figure traders are loosing their interest to push it.... = no energy.... just some random thoughts.
