Chebanse, IL.....

The Slow Boys Tractor & Engine Club of Gilman IL hosted their first plow day of 2017 this past Sunday, March 12. This one was on a farm immediately west of Piper City, IL, adjacent to Rt 115. There was approximately 100 acres plowed by 25 tractors. Spring plowing isn't normal in NE IL, but it was dry & nice plowing conditions. No wind on Sunday & temps hovered in the low 30s. Very nice weather for early March here.

YouTube videos will take a day or 2 to get going, but I have several. Drone views also. If anyone is going to have a plow day, there usually isn't any shortage of willing participants. Some are sponsored by school or civic groups, some just let you come plow your heart out. Just don't bring anything too new. New style cabs are generally frowned upon. HeatHousers are OK though.
