I just made one with plywood frame and plexiglass windshield.  Also made a back panel with window.  Foam between plywood and pipe frame on Polaris.  Drilled holes in plywood and each panel held on with zip ties.  Takes 5 minutes to put on or take off.  Had plywood, so total cost was about $20 for plexiglass.  Front windshield is 2 separate pieces, just in case one got scratched or broken.
