indiana | If production agriculture was easy there would be more of us doing it. Patience , discipline , courage , compassion , common sense , management skills , and faith are required for a family to not only survive but thrive in production agriculture. All of those tie into being a least cost producer. Production agriculture produces raw commodities and raw commodities normally don't have high profit margins. Sat my dad told me a lot too , much that I didn't want to hear but has paid me well. Oh , and I never cared for set-a-side either. | |
