Anytime...my email is good too in my profile.
I 'll look in my old printed off photos, and see if I have any when I used to stripe the Ford Louisvilles, I think mom may have some photos of me working / painting trucks when I was in high school and college, long time ago.... :-).
I used to do a lot of hand lettering and some scroll work / pinstriping, I really have gotten rusty ( and lazier ), since I got my vinyl cutter years ago.
Also used to get into some body repair jobs where a front fender / hood would need redone, then try and have to match things up, this was my best foolproof way that I could come up with.
I tried an old school overhead projector too....that worked...but a lot of screwing around !!!!
Another idea...is to do a wrap. Check with some local sign shops that specialize in vehicle wraps. Some of the better shops can do a nice job fairly reasonable.
It just depends on what YOU want...myself I like the old school painted stripes, then clear and sand the edges smooth and clear again.
That's a great thought.....I never have the wrap idea a thought! Might be the best and cheapest alternative!
Will have to check into that!
Thanks again |
