Sw Ontario
There has been several acres of Xtend beans growing around here in 2016 for seed production for Monsanto. One of the requirements of Monsanto was that these beans had to be sprayed at least once post emerge with Xtendimax otherwise the contract would be terminated. Said field had a few weeds but nothing to worry about but Monsanto wanted it. We, together with everybody involved picked the right day when all conditions were perfect. Everybody agreed, it could not be better at that moment so we did what we had to do. Perfect job. But the Dicamba thought otherwise.
The reason for Monsanto's requirement is they want to weed out any non Dicamba resistent bean in their seed production field due to contamination or whatever so they are sure all their seed is Dicamba resistant.
