Concordia, KS | The label does say that dicamba can be used before planting. I don't remember for sure, but the label says 1 inch of rain and 30 days preplant, or something like that. If you spray dicamba 15 days before planting, you are off label. If there is a drift claim or problem, you are liable because you were off label. With Xtendimax, there is no rainfall or pre plant interval due to the tolerance in the beans.
If you would burn down with dicamba right before planting and kill a neighbors non-Xtend beans, you are off label and will have no insurance support. If you use Xtendimax, follow the 110 foot buffer rule, and still kill the beans, if you have done everything right, you have a much better chance of getting your insurance to cover the loss to the neighbor. | |
