Lonely indeed, I never knew such a tractor existed, but I was on drive to Glennwood MN, to look at a 686,I had seen advertised. The dealer next door had a 2wd 6085 sitting on their lot. The Agco had caught my eye as a possible sprayer tow unit, I liked the cab/ac option, over the 686.

I went home that night and did some net searching to see what I could find out about the little Italian rig. In my search I found another 6085 fwa only about 40 miles away. Well I was making regular trips to UMN Hospital to visit a stepson, I looked at the 6085 several times , and finally decided to make an offer. We came to terms, and I crossed my fingers. After the engine repair debacle (took a gamble and lost) I still have a fwa tractor both small and large enough to pull my sprayer.

I figure spraying my acres makes me the most return of any operation on my farm. So hopefully the $20K I have invested will come back before the thing nickels and dimes me to death.

I still need to get the wheel and tire deal done, which I would have had to do on the 686 too.

I hope this story ends well, as near as I can tell this tractor has never had a loader, and I do not intend to use it that way, it's life will be relatively plush, and hopefully it coddles me a little more than my 300.

Time will tell

It looks like the Italians are building quite a few American branded tractors these days, in fact the NH TL100 looks like it could be a cousin.

Does yours have the 24 speed transmission? According to literature I have found, this one has a transmission which was never built.

This is my first FWA tractor, I am looking forward to having FWA and diff lock, when the going gets sticky, there is just no way to pull a stuck sprayer out without destroying a lot of crop.
