I took a set of 14.9 /46 rims of a rowgator that the centers cracked. Centered the castings on the rim and drilled through the holes on the out side of the castings where the wedge bolts fasten and bolted it directly to the rim. Then cut out the center 4inches from the bolts. I have done this to a 4440 and a 4960. Paid scrap price for one set of rims.
