Floyd County, Iowa | Well, if freezing meat is a problem, I'm in trouble.
We buy meat (1/4 or 1/2 beef and whole hog) at a time. It has to be frozen. The locker flash-freezes it.
Fresh is always the best, but...............
Just let it thaw at room temp and cook it.
edit: After re-reading your first sentence, you DON'T mean cooking first, right?
