Figure what you can get it for. Write the check and put the units serial number in the memo and give it to the salesman. "That's all your getting buddy". Usually works in the afternoon on the last day of the week and/or month. The dealers around these parts like to consign equipment to Richie Bros.... which they take a bath on but it sells. They don't keep the off brand stuff on their lots very long. 3 months max. Sometimes they do a dealer to dealer trade to get their own brand back.

If you're trading used for used. You're going to get screwed.
