Thanks for the replies everyone. Definitely cleared up my confusion on the 3 brands. I've wondered if we would like a 4 or 5 row spike tooth instead of baskets but I'll have to see what dad thinks of that idea. I can see where the baskets can cause crusting issues but maybe it's not as big of deal as we think. Usually in this area if rotary hoes are running every one is running no mater what finish tool they use. Last year a neighbor hoed notill beans. It was a crappy spring.
