cost to put up grain bin?

10k bin holds 50 acres of decent corn. Corn yields are probably not going down. 25k bushel bin would be a nice size and cheaper per bushel. You can still hit it with a 10x71 auger. Let us know what you wind up doing and take pictures.

p.s. Even on a 36ft bin doing the concrete yourself is not insurmountable. Rebar. And you can save big $$$ by doing it. Use twice the rebar you think you need, make sure your outer 3 ft of the pad is down below frost line and it will be there for many years. Rebar. Did I mention rebar? Should be able to get down to 1.60 to 1.80 bushel including electric.
