Subject: RE: What size tractor frame?

Pierce county WI
For the same money as a new cheap tractor, why not a bigger well built American tractor? My loader broke one spring when I still had cattle. I rented a tl100 new Holland. If that thing had a hundred horsepower, a 4020 has 200! I'd look for a 7410 John Deere. Or a low hr 42/44/40 50 or 55. There's a big difference (in Deere) between a German utility tractor and a Waterloo built ag tractor. A 74 or 7510 is a smaller frame than the bigger row crops. If you can get the bigger frame I would, it's rare to have too much tractor.
