Southeast WI | I kind of chuckle at the hand wringing over killing alfalfa so many seem to do on this site. It's just alfalfa for cripes sake - here for my clients we kill off hundreds of acres every single year, it's nothing to be afraid of or stress over. Sometimes the crop may be a little smothered or set back from a manure application and guys spray a little early so we have areas grow back. Simple herbicide like Status completely destroys any left over alfalfa. Not complicated. | |
