If your not going to stock it, be competitive on the price. I can google a part # while your guy behind the counter tries to find out the price and how long it will take to get it.

Also, if I can look the part # up quicker on my phone than your 'professional' can... don't expect me to have much confidence in the rest of your operation.

I can fully identify with what Ben said. We are probably thinking of dealing with a few of the same people. I think a good parts person is a dying breed.


That because they don't pay parts people
They get what they pay for.
A good part guy is worth millions in his career so pay them accordingly.
