Going on 8 yrs strip till 22" rows for sugarbeets in irrigated grain stubble with Schlegel machine over thousands of acres , may I ask what still needs to be proven about the practice?


Will it work somewhat foolproof with 240 bu. corn rotating with beans, beets, or corn on corn? And pay for the additional machinery? How large of a machine and tractor can you afford to put together and how many acres can I actually get over?
