Hey Ray...........I've never been to the Panama Canal but have close relatives who've been there and taken lots of pictures. For these folks saying that South America will pick up our grain business along with you saying that rail is basically there only means to import grain................I don't recall any of those tourist pictures showing railroad tracks crossing the canal. Just sayin.
