While I recognize that additional corn acres is somewhat limited there is still plenty of room to go up in corn acres if the price of soybeans falls much below $10. As it is we're scheduled for 87 M acres of beans & 90 M acres of corn. Look what happened to corn acres in 2007 when the Chinese threaten to stop buying beans. In 2006 & 2008 we only planted 75 M acres of beans. That dropped to 64 M A's in 2007 while corn ballooned to 93 M A's. There's easily 10 M more acres that can go into corn in heartbeat.
