Subject: RE: Strip Till in 22" rows

Northern Illinois
Not too sound like a d@#$ this is a serious question that I have pondered.... If you go to 22 inch strip till and have an 8 inch wide berm might you as well do full broad acre tillage/or straight no till? I am just asking. We are 30 inch rows and I really want to go to strip till, and have contemplated 20 inch row corn but keep going back to feeling like I might as well do tillage or straight no till if getting that narrow?

EDIT: Obviously the benefit to banded fertility I understand....
