I remember a year had a 7 inch rain in October....flooded one 125 acre bottom over the top of 1/2 the corn or more....that's like 7-8 foot deep water....we harvested the whole field....lost 2-3 acres at most.......dirty dusty job, but moral of the story is that it was a very minimal loss for such a big rain event during harvest
