From what I remember reading in those the cart was powered by hydraulics from the combine. I can't imagine those older machines having much extra capacity in hydraulic power. Maybe the Deere Titan combines, but I can't imagine trying to run one with the hydraulics on a 14 or 1600 series CIH.
