southern middle TN | Menno has hit the nail on the head. If you really want to farm full time, don't let this opportunity pass you up. Good land is hard to come by anywhere now a days. You seem like you do a good job farming with paid for, experienced machinery. Keep that up and upgrade equipment as you can. 800 acres with a fulltime job is certainly doable with the right setup and efficient use of you time and resources. Two income streams will certainly be beneficial as well. Squeeze them nickels and make it happen! Good luck in your decisions. | |
