I had a deere set that went 2 years and a shoup set that did not make it a year before the bearings were out. They did give me my money back on the ones that were bad but they only had 1500 acres on .

Are you no-till and running side-band fert openers?  That seems to be a recipe for destroying brgs in the seed opener blades, due to uneven loading (soil has been loosened on one side, but not the other).  Also, have a look at your seed-tube guards, since they provide the backstop against blade flex, which also stresses bearings.
