I believe Macdon & Renn built the pull types. The JD, IH, MF & Renn itself had the harder to transport swathers like the IH 75, JD 580 etc. Macdon had the JD 590 model & the CIH 8250 & Macdon had their name on one. Owatonna had their own pull type, & I don't believe Hesston had a pull type grain swather but they did however have self-propel.
