| Cobalt bits. More expensive but the death of bits usually comes in the form of harder metals. No bit will stand up to abuse so if to chip them and break them because your pushing to hard or aren't drilling straight, then there's not much you can do.
If you ever need to drill really hard metal, take masonry bit, sharpen it at 12 degrees, and it'll go through anything. I've never had a metal yet that I couldn't work with carbide. | |
