Subject: First upgrade for 2017 (pic). Plus a very good dealer rant

SE Michigan
The New Holland 555E went down the road after almost 10 years of very poor service. Us it for a day, spend the next 1/2 day fixing something. And it always breaks down with the loader down so you have to fight your way around the loader. Not impressed at all with the tractor, glad to finally see it go. Hope the next one is a little more durable. The bad part of it is....I never worked the tractor really hard or mis-used it in any way. Always kept up the best I could also. It started off bad, 3 weeks after I owned it, $4000 repair bill to fix a coolant leak (freeze plug between the engine and trans) and a new radiator, plus a few other. small things that the dealer found that needed fixing while it was apart

New (to me) one came from Southeastern Equipment. Talk about a good dealer.............from my first call (the sales guy actually called me back in 10 min) to when I walked in the place, outstanding service and detail. While they were fixing a few things as part of the deal I made, they found several more things that they fixed with out charge. some minor (belt and spring tensioner) to replacing one swing cylinder on the hoe that was leaking (bent rod). Service department spent allot of time with me showing me the controls, offering tips and do's and don'ts of the machine. Never rushed me out of the shop, or out of the cold (allot of demo was done outside) And to top it off, as I dropped off my check today, I noticed a 1/50th toy of the new N series, asked how much it was, (told me $34), then proceeded to give it to me.

Keep in mind, buying this tractor was my first time in this dealer, never spent a dime here. And these guys know that I am not a "contractor" so I will not be needing any more equipment in the near future. Great place to do business, wish some of the AG dealers treated me 1/2 this good?????
