| Well I don't know their trading background - or education level. We spend a LOT of time in education & communication, and less time on trading here, so that's built into our commission structure. If they are paying $125, to pick up the phone, place a trade and move on - yes, they are definitely over paying for trades. If they are looking for cheap trades, but to have intense, quality, lengthy conversations with a broker, to do that with someone very cheap, again I think you would get what you pay for.
If you are looking for a broker to give you outlook, you're going to eventually get burned no matter what. They should be helping you manage risk - if you want to speculate that's different entirely. | |
