We like our Deere.  Parts are easier to get.  Whatever you get make sure it has a Kawasaki or Honda if it's gas.  Kohler and Briggs are junk.  One of the times when you truly get what you pay for, and its really not much more.



I would have to agree. I have a 2007 Deere 54 in cut with the Kawasaki twin cyl. I mow about an acre and it has had nothing but gas, oil, greese, and blades in 9 years. Runs well. Can mow as fast as I can stay in the seat.
Could not ask for more. I do treat it well and keep up on maintenance. This has been my first and only zero turn so I dont have any experience with other brands.
