I haven't tried it but if you look at the Purdue weed control guide Stinger is rated a 9 on giant rag along with Status. I have used Status and it is a sure kill on giant rag but I don't think it has a lot of residual. I think the Stinger does have pretty good residual. I am using Resicore on about 1/2 my acres this year since it has the Stinger in it.
