+1. For our area in central Illinois, beans planted in late April usually are best. Treatment for seed gives you the confidence to go ahead and plant early. Also, in 30 inch rows, treatment gives confidence to plant no more than 100,000 per acre which seems to be the best for seed cost and good yields. If you are planting later in season, treatment is not as necessary and will probably have less chance for payback.
