In case you're interested, here's the first post of what's going on.

I finally just could'nt stand the waiting for the weather, so I went out this morning to give it a try. I found a problem that I'm going to have to figure a way out of. The berry canes have grown so aggressively(sp) that the tips of the plant have taken root in the center of the isle. Now I have to cut them off before the vertical cutters can do their job properly.:-( I have one more cutter bar, but its a different style. Still, I'll see if I can make it work.

Here's what I did this morning, and had to quit till I fix the machine to cut those tips off.

"jungle" is self explaining.
"vine problem" shows sort of where the problem is.
"small tires" I had to put the small tires on to slow my ground speed down. (actuall I did it cause its too wet to be out there and I want to compact the soil and make ruts for the rains to erode..............jus kiddin:-)
"finished product" is a sample of what the canes are supposed to look like after I'm done. This pic is in a somewhat thin area and the cane tips had'nt grown enough to take root. The cutter worked excellent in those conditions.
