Subject: 95E problem

Edgerton MN
Our Cat has about 2700 hrs and has started to leak oil from the hydraulic system into the transmission. The Cat guy thought it was a defective "flop" valve under the cab floor, so we replaced it. It is bypassing less oil, but is still doing between a pt. and a qt. / hr. He now thinks it is a seal on the implement pump or the steering pump, or one of those pumps is defective. We are currently draining oil out of the tranny and putting it back in the hydraulic system about every 20 hrs. Cat says this will work to finish our 5 more days of tillage and then they will send the pumps up to have them checked and/or bebuilt. Have any of you Catskinners had this problem or have a better solution than what we have come up with so far?
