Just take a torch and start wacking. You'll find real quick that anything less than a plasma or torch takes to long for very much fence. Jigs don't work that well because you still need to clean up free hand.

I take a 8 inch piece of top rail and rough cut the saddle. Then use the top rail to see where needs adjusted by laying it in saddle. When I'm doing good, I can do one saddle per 30-45 seconds if I don't need to do to much adjusting. You can also use the top rail to eyeball the slope of the saddle when your on hilly ground.
