Subject: Re: Carbon Credits

Springfield, MN
Now what am I missing here? Is it to reduce carbon which they say will prevent global warming?

If this is the idea then will it take more fuel to heat your home? Or will it make for a shorter growing season? Is global warming a bad thing? I seem to remember that in grade school we were told there were 5 glaciers in MN many years ago that made our prairies. If this is so then it was without man's intervention.

Do I understand that the carbon credits will allow someone to pollute using your clean area of the globe? So again what am I missing here?
