Hay Wilson in TX
Posted 11/3/2006 14:17 (#57749 - in reply to #57735)
Subject: - 60" Centers would be a reach for phosphate but

Little River, TX
For coastal bermudagrass, a periannial summer grass, 30 to 42 inch nitrogen centers fills no problem. Possibly becouse I can skip a year or two N with no lossed hay production, in our exceedingly high CEC soil. My challange would not to run my chisels in the same spot year after year.
This is something I would not attempt in East Texas. but our CenTex Blacklands are a different proposition.
