Dills, FL | Bookmarked that one for sure. Coach did a fantastic speech on the whole subject.
One should remember the history books get written mostly by the ones who prevail and we shouldn't forget there are multiple sides to each war. WWII comes to mind and all should know there were some powerful companies/people in the U.S. who supported the Nazi's and Japs before we were officially in the war on the front lines. Realize my uncle may not have been a POW in Korea IF some of these powerful companies/people during WWII had been on been on the side of humanity and not the side of financial opportunity. I subscribe to the idea Korea and Vietnam were outcroppings of splitting bounty of WWII with China.
So many young men and women served and were lost or maimed I have no way to thank them enough. Even now we suffer with decision of financial opportunity vs. correct side of humanity. So many times our allies become our enemy and vice versa.... this for sure will continue into the future.
I don't think I will ever stop shedding a tear during The Star Spangled Banner.
