| No way is labor 75% of the cost.... The crews that build a lot of buildings in ,out, done..... 5-8 k is the norm for a basic building. Once they get above 50x100 it bumps up a bit but not much. Just had a friend who quoted a building for his election business 30x60, 3 Roll up doors, 3 man doors no floor. He is a little macho.... and said me and my guys can put it up cheaper than anyone else can... OK I said. Recieved the quote for the materials.... told him he's crazy if he does that, sent him to a very reputable builder I know that does very nice work. Quoted the same building..... for another $3500 he has a turn key building over just the material quote. He couldn't believe it... Now granted others do charge more for the same building but can't speak to the higher price... | |
