I have been very happy with it, only made a few cables so far, but so far so good.
I wont ever just solder something, either crimp, or crimp and solder. So far I am just crimping and putting heat shrink over it.
To keep from having unsightly "pink" cables in 10+ years of fading, I just use black cable for everything and put red or black heatshrink on to dictate positive or negative.
I did get one order from Waytek, but everything else has been ebay.
The thing I like about Waytek is the tell you the country of origin. Call me weird, but I have no issues buying a chinese hydraulic crimper, but I will be damned before I put import lugs or cable on stuff. :) So far Waytek and ebay can affordably keep me in USA made stuff. | |
