nw pa | have somewhat the same problem but usually just on first load.
What we have done is on the previous unload,shut the gate,let it empty out,shut off the power,then open gate again. The auger sits empty except for small amount at sump.Cover end with screen or something to keep the rodents out of it. This way you don't have to worry if the gate is going to open or not.At least on the next load. Once they have opened a time or two they don't seem to be tough to open.Although the bigger the augers the harder they may be to open . | |
