SE MT | Have two 4630s. One is quad range, one 8speed powershift. The quad range is hands down a better farming tractor. More speeds, less hp loss in the trans. The p.s. is better at everything else. Have around 15,000 to 16,000 hours on the p.s. tractor, trans never opened. Engine only overhauled a year ago. If I could have only one it's the powershift easily just for ease of use, and anyone can drive. Good trans to start the wife or kids on
Also have a PS in a 2520 nd that is also still original with around 7000 hours on it. Those transmissions while sometimes rough or a little crude get the job done and will probably outlast a couple deere IVT transmissions
