Manitoba, Canada | We have had good luck with powerquads. Our 4250 PQ has around 14000 hours on it and the clutch and transmission have never been touched. Yet. No sign of any issue but I've learned that doesn't mean it will last the day. I wouldn't want to count the number of times the clutch has been pushed and the transmission shifted. I have never driven a 15 so power shift so I can't comment on it at all. I do like the PQ though.
Your last few comments describes part of the reasons we hear horror stories. Not always, but sometimes. Just because a person can shift like that doesn't mean we should. Some people can drive equipment with known weaknesses and never have an issue and the next person can drive a bulletproof design into pieces long before it should be. Common sense goes a long way. | |
