SE MN Still in Pothole Country | Never had a 3020 or 4020 Powershift. Had 4640PS and now a 4440PS. 4440 now for planting, small grain cart, and used to spray with it. Now spray with 4440 Quad because it has the narrow tires on it. 14.9 x 46. R-E-A-L-L-Y prefer Powershift the way I use now. Considering dualling up the 14.9x46 and putting on the Powershift Tractor. Also have 7140 Boxcar Magnum. Even with 18 speeds could use one more between 4.3 and 5. But not the country's biggest problem.
Around yard with the 8 speed PS you learn to go right to 3 or 4 at low throttle and no clutch. If you try 1 or 2 and think you are going to 3 or 4 you get the old stop and go like an 806 with dump valve on TA adjusted wrong! |
