Subject: RE: Pioneer Liberty Beans

Palestine, IL 62451

I haven't planted any Pioneer LL beans but my cousin has and a couple of his fields were outstanding. I went to a Dupont/Pioneer meeting before harvest and they talked down LL beans so bad it was sickening, especially knowing how well they did for him last year. It is all about matching a seed with the chemical program (Dupont preferably). I have been using LL for at least 6 yrs now and really like them. To answer you question, I think the ones he had good luck with were a 3.7 or somewhere in there. Might be a little late for your latitude though. They do have some good ones obviously, just don't know why they don't market them.
