I remember My Dad and his mkt plan.
you had to have the cribs cleaned out befor harvest.
what we didn't need for the cattle and hogs,you sold.
But you had to be sure you didn't run out of feed,
so you couldn't sell too early.

So anytime corn was over $1 in the summer, you lined up the sheller.
pretty simple but lots of work.

I was an expert at running a scoop shovel -
it was year around - grinding feed for cattle and hogs,
and the milk cows.
