Ontario's middle east
In a lot of respects Rob, it's not that different than farming. There are lean times and good times, through out which, change is a constant. You see some managing the decay and others in steady growth mode. The secret seems to be the willingness to embrace change and roll in the direction that keeps you relevant. Whether that is the capital intense stuff like more drying , more space, more receiving or the simpler (not easier) things like knowing your market and servicing your buyers through cash inversions and respecting the power of inverted futures. Not saying we won't eventually become obsolete.... just some of us will get there sooner than others. Happy New Year. Say Hey to Sam.
