| BlackCattle - 12/29/2016 17:00 We stay in Iowa for everything. And they cover critical care out of state in case of accident or whatever. We looked it over pretty well before signing up last year and so far so good.
Like I said, it works fine for those that don't cross state lines. Consider yourself lucky.
For those of us that travel across state lines to get to our nearest major medical center it flat out sucks.
The plans that are offered in Iowa cover very few doctors at the SD hospitals/clinics we go to.
There were/are exactly 7 plans offered on the exchange for our county. Those 7 plans are from 2 companies. They all suck unless we want to travel much further to get medical care covered by the plan.
