what attachments/upgrades do you have on your drill if any? Keep blades sharp, use a good seed deflector like Needhams bonilla seed tabs and a spiked closing wheel like the Thompson wheel from exapta (especially if planting in corn stalks) If your boot mounting holes are extremely sloppy then they might need repaired..

we drop 120-140k on 10" spacing and wouldn't want to plant them any other way. keeping the seed in the trench (seed tabs and keep fan speed to a minimum) and covering the trench consistently (spiked wheels) are the best bet to more consistent looking stands. Early, drilled beans are never as pretty as 15's or 30's but as others have said, they don't seem to care come harvest.
