Obamacare is a small part of the problem. The big part of the problem is the escalating cost of healthcare and no one .... I repeat no one in the industry has an incentive to reduce the cost. Doctors don't, hospitals don't, drug companies don't, equipment providers don't, the govt wont enforce the monopoly rules because they all get millions upon millions in campaign contributions from the healthcare racket I mean health care industry and Donald Trump has been silent on reducing the cost of healthcare.
part of the cost of healthcare is because of regulations, and there isn't any competition, Insurance just drives up the cost of everything, people don't care what it costs if they aren't paying for it, everyone should be set up with a hsa type account and bear the responsibility of paying for the bottom end of their ailments, and have a cheap disaster type ins. on top of it.
Minnesota had mn care before the aca, if you were uninsurable you could get affordable insurance through the state, it seemed to work, until our Governor jumped on the aca bandwagon, now they are scrambling as what to do, its a mess. |
